Contemporary use:
A contemporary purse with zipper, useful for keeping loose change. This purse has a half-rectangular shape.
The purse is mostly handwoven from bemban (Donnax sp) fibre, a freshwater reed found growing on river fringes. The body of the purse is woven in a traditional pattern, and trimmed with cloth bias tape.
