Traditional use:
Ka-be bersegi or the Bidayuh bamboo lidded containers were originally made from uwe rattan strips and lined with raye' leaves when storing cooked rice.

These contemporary versions feature various floral patterns formed by interweaving plain & enamel painted bamboo strips (green).

Contemporary use:
As a desk caddy, decorative gift box or drawer organiser.
